A Systematic Approach to the Design of Logistics Solutions and a Methodology for their Evaluation in the Field of Greening Freight Transport

Abstract

In the mentioned article, we present a systemic approach to solving the problem of transport with an important aspect and emphasis on greening. We present a methodology for assessing supply chains using a process approach and the application of environmental strategies in the rail transport sector, where we identify potential limitations in material, financial and information flow in detail. To facilitate this evaluation, we also present the possibility of a software solution that we developed as a separate methodology for the field of intermodal transport.
