Abstract

AbstractThis paper presents a synthesis method for active RC filters with multiple pass‐bands. The synthesis procedure is based on a signal‐flow graph representation and frequency transformation applied to a passive LCR filter. It should be noticed that an active RC filter with multiple passbands is amenable to the finite gainband product effects of an operational amplifier. This is really true if adjacent passbands are close. Hence an effective technique is developed for reducing the finite GB product effects. An experimental result concerning the two‐passband filter derived from a third‐order Chebyshev filter also is included.
