A survey on the relationship between stress and mental health of workplace (A study of employee of Maskan bank branches in Mashhad)

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between stress and mental health of workplace in the Maskanbank branches of Mashhad. A questionnaire was designed to measure the variables; the first part isgeneral questions and the second part is specific questions based on Likert scale. After confidence of the reliability of this questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha coefficient 88% and validity the tools of measuring was approved by the faculty management team; and distributed among a sample of 284 staff of Maskanbank branches using the Morgan table and randomly method. The aim of this study was applied and the collecting data is descriptive-survey. The results showed that there is a significant and positive relation between the variable of stress and its components (the requirements of the job, interpersonal and physical) with the variable of mental health in the workplace of Maskan Bank.
