Abstract
The findings of a review into European Creep Crack Growth practice relating to weldments are presented. Test piece design, test load control, temperature measurement, displacement determination, crack growth monitoring and the calculation of crack growth are examined. A draft code of practice to address CCG testing of weldments is reviewed and future developments in this field are explored.
