Abstract

As the knowledge-based economy has grown, effective Knowledge Management (KM) is becoming more and more crucial. Effective knowledge management is cited as a crucial element for any company seeking to maintain a sustained edge over competitors. To emphasize the importance of KM in organizations, the literature in the area is surveyed in this work. The study can demonstrate the significance of knowledge management factors in determining how well an organization performs as well as a vital instrument for its competitiveness, profitability and survival. For organizations to fully benefit from the value of knowledge, effective creation, management, sharing and utilization of knowledge are therefore essential. The study makes the argument that three essential elements people, procedures and technology must be considered if organizations are to manage knowledge effectively. Essentially, the goal of connecting people, processes and technology should be to leverage knowledge in favor to ensure the achievement of the organization.
