Abstract

A model for training and supervising clinical supervisors in public agencies is presented. The rationale, didactic training, and structure for the experiential process of group supervision of the supervisors in training are described. The evaluation of this model in one community service board agency indicated that the participants found the supervision training to positively impact their understanding of clinical supervision, their supervision practice, and their professional and personal growth.
