Abstract
PCOD (POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME) is an endocrine system disorder that occurs in women of reproductive age. PCOD is suspected in women who present with enlargement of their ovaries &/or with multiple follicles within each ovary. PCOD is increasing its incidence; the researcher would like to assess the knowledge of rural women on identification of PCOD & its prevention with the purpose of early detection & treatment.
