Abstract

This research pertains to the evaluation of thermoelastic interactions in fiber-reinforced material with spherical cavities. In the context of Green–Naghdi model (GNIII), the numerical solutions are obtained with the use of the finite element scheme. The discretization of the structure is done by the finite element method where the element is quadratic. The internal surface of the spherical hole is loaded by a uniform step in temperature. The results are graphically presented to show the effects in the absence and presence of reinforcement.
