Abstract

본 연구는 교사가 유아에게 쓰기를 교육하고 그에 대한 평가를 실시하는 과정에서의 경험을 바탕으로, 그 교육적 의미와 가치를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학원에 재학 중인 연구자이자, 10년 내외의 교육경력을 가진 유치원 교사 4명을 연구대상으로 선정하였고, 연구자와 교사 간의 개인면담 및 집단심층면담(FGI)을 실시하였다. 연구참여자의 쓰기교육과 평가 경험을 분석한 결과, 총 세 가지의 의미와 가치를 도출하였다. 첫째, 교사는 ‘관찰의 과정’에 기반한 참여 및 지원을 통하여 유아의 쓰기 세계에 합류할 수 있었다. 둘째, 교사는 ‘융합의 과정’을 통해 놀이와 활동을 함께 교육하고, 과정과 결과를 함께 평가하며, 유아를 온전히 이해하는 시너지 효과를 가져왔다. 셋째, 교사는 유아와 학급 간, 평가결과 활용과 교육계획 수립 간 ‘환류의 과정’을 통해 유아의 쓰기가 성장하고 변화하는 모습을 반영해나갔다. ‘관찰’과 ‘융합’, ‘환류’의 과정으로 구성된 유아 교사의 쓰기교육과 평가는 만들어가는 교육과정의 방향으로 나아가야 하며, 유아로부터, 유아에 의한, 유아를 위한 과정으로서의 가치가 있음을 시사하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.This study aimed to explore the educational meaning and value of teacher experiences based on the cases studies by teachers in the process of education and assessment writing for young children. To this end, four early childhood teachers who are also researchers at the graduate school and have about ten years of educational experience were selected as subjects of the study. And individual interviews and focus group interview(FGI) were conducted between the researcher and teachers. As a result of analyzing the writing education and assessment experience of the research participants, three main meanings and values were explored. Firstly, teachers were able to join the writing world of young children through participation and support based on the ‘Process of Observation’. Secondly, the teachers concurrently educated play and activities, assessed the process and results together, and brought synergy effects to fully understand young children through the ‘Process of Convergence’. Thirdly, teachers reflected the growth and change of young children's writing through the ‘Process of Reflux’ between young child and classes, between the utilization of assessment results and establishment of educational plans. It is significant in that this research suggests the writing education and assessment of early childhood teachers, which consists of the process of ‘Observation’, ‘Convergence’, and ‘Reflux’, should lead in the direction of making a curriculum and valuing a process from, by, and for the young children.
