Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between career motivation and career aspirations of Taekwondo students. In 2020, this study selected 380 students from 10 universities in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, Chungcheong Province, and Daejeon as the target group. The career motivation scale was devised by Kim(2012) based on London(1983) s career motivation test, and the career motivation scale used by Kim(2020) and Park(2019) was modified and supplemented to suit this research. The career aspirations scale was modified and supplemented by Choi(2002) to meet the research purposes of the newly revised K-CASR by Kim, O Brien & Kim (2016). The data processing was conducted using the SPSS 23.0 and Amos 23.0 programs for Window to analyze for statistical purposes, resulting in the following results: First, Career insight has influenced aspirations for achievement, leadership and education. Second, The sense of career congestion affected aspirations for achievement and education. Third, Career elasticity influenced leadership aspirations and education aspirations.
