Abstract

Nowadays, big data changes our way of thinking, production, way of life and so on. When it comes to the oral English learning, by taking advantage of the big data, the intellectualized English learning English platform would greatly alter our way of oral English learning, in which the negative transfer of one's mother tongue as well as one's thought pattern from one's own culture always pose an obstacle to his or her learning of foreign languages. So, firstly, I provide a general introduction to second language acquisition, and give the definition of language transfer. Afterwards, the negative transfer of Chinese in oral English learning is carefully analyzed, by discussing the difference between Chinese and English, in the aspects of phonetics and phonologies, vocabulary, and culture. As a result, I put forward some strategies to promote the oral English teaching and learning, including pedagogical, syllabus, and assessment implication. During the process, An intellectualized English learning English platform is an effective option for all the students and teachers, which can effectively get rid of or diminish the influence of negative transfer in language teaching and learning, and bring the positive transfer into full play.
