Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of leisure activity satisfaction and self-worth of parents of disabled children depending on their sociodemographic characteristics. For this study, a survey was conducted on 257 parents of disabled children in ○○ city of Chungcheongbuk-do. The research results showed that, first, the level of participation in leisure activity of parents with disabled children revealed a significant difference according to religion, health, and monthly household income. Second, the level of satisfaction in leisure activity of parents with disabled children was influenced according to age, religion, and health. Third, the level of self-worth felt by the parents with disabled children revealed a significant difference according to religion. The implications of this study are expected to become basic data for a leisure activity development program for parents of disabled children.
