Abstract

Research results are as follows. First, university students' career deci- sion level had a significant effect on self-determination. Second, university stu- dents' career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant effect on self- determination. Third, university students' career preparation behaviors had a significant effect on self-determination. Fourth, career decision-making self- efficacy and career preparation behavior had a significant mediating effect be- tween career decision level and self-determination. It could be interpreted that a university's career decision level affected career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior, and it positively affected self-determination as well. These research results can be used for university education; in other words, employment education to foster university students' career decision level and career decision-making self-determination, career preparation behavior, and self-determination required for career development and employment. Through these results, it could increase employment rates after university students have graduated. Therefore, this research provides theoretical and realistic implicit suggestions for university students' career education, managing job education, and employment rate increases.
