A Study on the Audition Pieces of Music Colleges for the Cello Majors from 2007 to 2017

Abstract

본 연구에서는 국내 주요 음악대학의 첼로 전공 입시곡의 종류를 조사해봄으로써 첼로 레퍼토리 학습목록을 제공함과 동시에 입시 유형에 따른 음악학습의 보완점을 살펴보는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 우선 음악대학중 입시에서 지정곡을 제시하는 경희대, 서울대, 숙명여대, 연세대, 이화여대, 중앙대, 한국예술종합학교, 한양대 총 8개(가나다 순) 대학교에서 지난 2007년부터 2017년 수시와 정시 입시곡으로 출제된 레퍼토리를 빈도 조사하고 입시곡 출제 유형을 분석하였다. 그 결과 출제된 첼로 입시 지정곡들이 거듭하며 반복적으로 출제되고 있으며 실기 능력이 우수한 학생을 선점하려는 의도로 점차 수시 선발 비율을 늘리는 경향이 조사되었다.The purpose of this study is to analyze the audition requirements for the admission of the 8 music colleges for cello majors for last 10 years. In order to achieve this goal, 55 cello pieces were collected from 8 music colleges such as Kyunghee University, Seoul National University, Sookmyung Women’s University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Chungang University, Korea National University of Arts, and Hanyang University. Investigating the frequency of the repertoire presents that 8 music colleges are applying a uniform standard in their audition requirements. This results may illustrate that the cello audition repertoire is quite limited and many music colleges prefer to select the student in the early decision rather than the regular one.
