Abstract

Continuing the researches related to the ascorbic acid content from pills, in the present paper we wanted to study Ascovit pills of 500 mg content. The dosing method used was that described by the “Farmacopeea Româna ed.X”, “Compressi acidi ascorbici”. A very good homogenity was found in the ascorbic acid content in the pills of grapefruit and orange flavour and a good one in the case of the other flavours. The highest levels of ascorbic acid were observed in the grapefruit flavoured pills (100.049mg) and those of peach (99.683mg), with a minimum value of the strawberry flavoured pills (89.198mg).
