A Study on Accounting and Auditing

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to explore the importance of accounting and auditing. In past couple of decades, the count of fraud cases is increased, and it brings a lot of questions in the minds of stakeholders. In order to destroy the problems of corporate governance all companies must inculcate practice of accounting and auditing. Few things are very essential when we inculcate practice of accounting and auditing are explained in this research study. As accounting frauds are to be reduced to do so, auditors must have freedom. In order to increase the authenticity of transaction the auditors must have responsibility also. Finally, our research puts light on the impact of internal auditing and importance of accounting and auditing and how auditors’ responsibility and freedom is important to improve corporate governance and investors protection.”
