Abstract

본 연구는 요양보호사의 처우개선을 위하여 근무현황을 파악하고자 하였다. 대구광역시에 소재한 총 36 개 시설(입소시설 22개소, 재가시설 14개소), 563명의 요양보호사(시설 336명, 재가 227명)들이 응답하였다. 수집된 응답결과는 기본적으로 기술통계(빈도⋅백분율⋅평균⋅최소값⋅최대값 등)를 통해 제시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 임금수준은 입소시설의 요양보호사는 1,442,333원, 재가시설의 요양보호사는 시급으로 평균 5681원 으로 낮은 수준이었다. 요양보호사의 직무만족도는 입소시설 요양보호사 2.81점(5점 만점), 재가시설 요양보 호사 3.21이었다. 직무만족도의 요인 중 입소⋅재가시설 요양보호사 모두 가장 높게 나타난 부분은 ‘일의 내용과 보람’이었고, 직무만족도가 가장 낮은 요인은 ‘승진기회’였다. 요양보호사들이 가장 힘들어 하는 부분은 ‘낮은 임금’이었다. 요양보호사들은 ‘지금 하고 있는 일을 계속하고 싶다’는 비율이 76.6%(입소시 설;79.4 재가시설;72.0)로 아주 높았다. 이러한 결과를 가지고 최근 바뀌어진 임금인상, 적정한 인력배치의 중요성, 장기요양기관의 총량제 도입과 같은 몇 가지 정책적 제언을 하였다.In this study, the researchers sought to investigate the working conditions to improve the treatment of the care workers working at elderly long–term care facilities. A total of 36 facilities(22 locations, 14 sites) and 563 care workers(336 facility and 227 houses) based in the DaeGu city responded. The collected response results are essentially presented in technical statistics (frequency, percentage, average, minimum value, maximum value, etc.). The results of the study are as follows. The wage level of the residential facilities care workers was 1,442,333won. The average hourly wage for home care workers was 5681 won. Both groups were at a low level. The care worker’s who working at residential facilities job satisfaction level was 2.81 (perfect score of 5 points) and the care worker’s working at home care facilities was 3.21. The lowest level of job satisfaction was at the time of the job description and reward“ from both group. On the other side, the hardest part of the care workers was the low wages. Unexpectly, the intention to relocate was so low. The 76.6% of care workers answered to keep working(Facility; 79.4%, houses;72.0%). And we made some policy suggestions that With these results, several policy suggestions were made, such as recent changes in wages, the importance of proper staffing, and the long-term care institution s total capacity system.
