Abstract
This paper presents a practical method for the PP (process planning) and its NC programming to the production with MTC. Firstly, the principles and rules involved in the design of the PP for production with MTC (mill-turn centre) are summarized out; secondly, the NC program is interactively created by calling the fabrication information given in the PP; lastly, the verification and optimum of the NC codes corresponding with the PP can be carried out in the NVMS (NC verification manufacturing system) with an MTC. These principles and approaches are universal and can be used to shorten the time to market for modern manufacturing corporations.
