Abstract

ABSTRACT The phase transformation plasticity of matels and alloys under the solid-state disffusionless phase transformation is studied in this paper. When the phase transformation of metals and alloys is analyzed, the Landan–Devonshire theory modified by us is applied. In this paper, the phase transformation strain eis taken as order parameter and the applied stress is taken as external field. On this basis, the effects of stress on the phase transformation strain is analyzed and the relation between phase transformation plasticity and stress in nondimentional form is given.
