Abstract

Many problems have been encountered in attempts to identify the musical emotional structure of sounds in gaming and on the internet. The search has been unfinished due to the uncertainty about composite waveforms. The survey method by playing typical music playing and listening to respondents directly. At the introduction to the study, relative areas were defined in a range of topics with “Color music” matching colors to visible light and the traditional general term of music emotions. At the core of research are the structures of major and minor in music interval structure, which were correlated with the emotions “happy” and “sad” mood in typical music. Therefore, the statistical method was chosen with 104 respondents to confirm the different emotions between major and minor interval. At the survey stage, simple questions were given to respondents to determine whether the music was “happy or sad” and respondents describe the density of the emotions between major and minor chord. Finally the results showed no differences from typical music introductions. Following from the results of this study, “happy and sad” modes, matching colors to musical pitches, rainbow scales, harmonies and composition sound art-work will be continued.
