Abstract

In this paper, a stopband-improved dual-band bandpass defect cavity filter based on Integrated Substrate Gap Wave-guide (ISGW) technology that has high integration but low insertion loss and self-encapsulation characteristic for suppressing EM interference is proposed. The single Rectangular ISGW Defect cavity that is perturbed by designing a metalized-cone has been designed by drugging rectangular cavity resonator in ISGW. Finally, the simulated result shows that: a 3-dB passband range of 1 st:27.68-~28.13GHz, f 01 =28.0 GHz, FBW=1.61 %; 2nd: 31.875~33.195GHz, f 02 =32.0GHz, FBW=4.13%, the out-of-band suppression less than −20dB (18.5–27GHz). Two transmission zeros on both sides of the passband improve the frequency selectivity. The Group Delay(2,1) also shows flat in each passband compared with using SIW tech.
