Abstract

Regional poultry programs by the Cooperative Extension Service have received increased interest from all levels of the Cooperative Extension organization. Well-planned, regional Extension Service program would allow more specialization and result in Extension programs with pertinent, comprehensive, highly technical information. Personnel working with regional programs must be committed to working with collaborative programs that often will involve holistic educational efforts. Flexible and innovative resource management will be necessary to allow regional poultry Extension Service programs to be successful.
