Abstract

Energy conservation is a future trend. We are using solar energy to produce thermal energy. Also, the system combined with fuzzy logic control mechanism, forms a set of fuzzy control for fermentation of chicken feces of solar hot water system. The system includes 3 parts, which are fermentor, control circuit and fuzzy controller. The core of fuzzy logic control core is Arduino Mage 2560. Control parameters include temperature of solar hot water, temperature of fermentor and light Lux. The inference method is Min-Min-Max for fuzzy inference to calculate gas control output. In this study, the spare heater adjustment applies a fuzzy theory with 27 fuzzy rules. System test results showed that the fermentor temperature can be kept at about 40°C to provide suitable decomposition environment temperature.
