Abstract
ABSTRACTDiscovery systems are important tools that libraries use to connect patrons to the multitude of open access resources and subscription databases. Whitaker Library is a small academic library with a small staff that serves a large population of first-generation college students. Time is a valuable commodity. This article expands on a presentation made at the 2016 North Carolina Serials Conference about how Whitaker Library's collaboration with EBSCO Support helped to create a better user experience for our students and allowed library staff more time to focus on other student needs.
