Abstract

In this study a modified topology of non-isolated high voltage gain DC-to-DC converter with a switched inductor is proposed. Further, the steady-state analysis in the discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and driving the equation for the voltage gain are presented. The proposed converter achieves soft switching, where the main switch is turned on with zero current switching (ZCS) and partially zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn off. Also, all converter diodes are turned off with ZCS which decrease the switching losses and give high efficiency for the converter. The proposed converter has a high gain, high efficiency, and less passive components, so it benefits to use for several industrial applications. In the last, the proposed converter is simulated using Matlab/Simulink program to change 24 V to 250 V and demonstrated the suitability.
