Abstract

A simple solution for 2-D adaptive clutter suppression is presented. It consists of two parts. In the first, the clutter is removed from the received data by a simple algorithm. Then the conventional detection method or suboptimal algorithm are applied to the data which has a lowered lever of clutter. As a result, even though computation costs are reduced, a nearly optimum array performance can be achieved. >
