Abstract
A simple method is described for measuring the average energy of relativistic particles by Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation appearing in the trigonal prism-radiator with mirror surfaces. The calculation formulas are presented. The precision of proton-energy measurements achieved by this method has been estimated.
