Abstract
Abstract It is shown that there exists a simple generating function for the three-dimensional oscillator wave functions which are simultaneous eigenstates of angular momentum. This function is used to derive a new formula for the oscillator transformation brackets in the most general case of two particles with different masses moving in oscillator potentials with different frequencies.
