Abstract
A new electrophoretic method using Titan III cellulose acetate plates has been developed for the separation and quantitation of glucuronic acid and iduronic acid. This method is quite simple, and glucuronic acid and iduronic acid can be separated within 50 min. This method was applied to the analyses of uronic acids in chondroitin sulfates A and C, and dermatan sulfate.
