Abstract
This chapter outlines the history of the International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) from its beginnings in the aftermath of the 1939–1945 World War to the present day. It includes lists of presidents, other key figures, and world and regional congresses. Significant events and publications are referenced. It is noted that the digital revolution has only recently allowed InSEA to achieve many of the ambitions of its founders, and it is concluded that these advances will enable InSEA to thrive in the future.
