Organized by UCLA Asian American Studies Center Publications Manager Mary Kao, this Amerasia Forum addresses the recent controversy over the claim that Richard Aoki worked as a FBI informant. Gathered here are a collection of short essays from personal friends and colleagues of Richard Aoki: Douglas Daniels, Harvey Dong, Wayie Ly. The pieces offer personal portraits of Aoki as the contributors consider his legacy and achievements in light of recent events.
