Abstract
'here has long been a need for a revised check list of the mammals of Kansas since the last one published is that of D. E. Lantz: 'A List of Kansas which appeared in the Transactions of the Kansas Academy of Science (19:171-178, 1903-1904). Revisions of this list appeared in the Transactions of 1906 (20 (Pt. 2) 214210). The following list was prepared at the suggestion of Mr. C. D. Bunker, assistant curator in charge, Museum of Birds and Mammals, University of Kansas.
