Abstract

Zerodur is well-recognized glass–ceramic utilized for optical elements because of excellent dimensions stamina under varying temperature. There is a big span of material for light weighted elements made with the help of Zerodur glass. For specimen, it is work for mirrors of space astronomical working telescopes, and configuration parts for space working instruments, mechanical configurations for industrial revolution works. Due to process parameter some surface defects like micro cracks, scratches etc are obtained that identify by mechanical profilometer. In order to satisfy provision of the light weight ratios and huge size control for space working mirror, the finite element analysis for mirror assembly with structural and thermal analysis calculation.
