Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the advantages and disadvantages of teaching English by using the suggestopedia method. The method of this study was library research which focused on content analysis. The object of this study was twenty articles related to the application of suggestopedia in the classroom. The result of the data analysis concluded that the suggestopedia method has seven advantages and three disadvantages. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of suggestopedia in teaching English has positive significance for students
