Abstract
This study aims to define the concept of digital textbooks and assess the perceptions and needs of educational stakeholders regarding their use. Focusing on the field of cosmetology education, the research explores the status and necessity of digital textbooks through sentiment analysis of news articles, using both content and big data analysis methods. The results indicate that while positive sentiments toward digital textbook adoption are predominant, there are significant concerns about technical issues and changes in the educational environment. Although the study provides valuable insights into the impact of digital textbooks on education, it is limited by a lack of in-depth research specifically on cosmetology education. Future research should therefore propose strategies tailored to the unique needs of cosmetology education.
