Abstract

A growing number of studies have suggested that androgen in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) exists a significant impact on the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). We should pay more attention to the metabolism and function of androgens in PCOS women, as well as the effect and mechanism of androgens on NAFLD progression in PCOS women.
