Abstract
Introduction: Quad bikes remain a popular farm vehicle, however, pose a real danger with on average 16 quad bike related deaths per year in Australia. Forensic medicine Newcastle has experienced a number of quad bike related deaths. This study was carried out to characterise these deaths with reference to historic coronial recommendations and recent legislation.
