Abstract

Michael Maltz bases his critique of our article, “Forecasting Highway Casualties: The British Road Safety Act and a Sense of Deja Vu,” primarily on W.S. Robinson's concept of the ecological fallacy. We feel Maltz's comments overreach any justification based on Robinson's theory and that they are a disservice. The following response reaffirms the validity of the variables we used.
