Abstract

The length of the free boundary of twodimensional weak surfaces with bounded mean curvature is studied in the case of non-perpendicular contact angles and for non-minimizing stationary surfaces. Isolated singularities are excluded if the contact angle is bounded away from zero and if the solution is assumed to lie on one side of the supporting surface.
