Abstract

The main purpose of a production system is to manufacture the best quality items and maintain their brand's reputation. But due to time-consuming single stage production system hurdles are faced by the industries. To avoid these types of hurdles and produce good quality products a single stage production system is framed. It is assumed that the items which still does not match the quality check are remanufactured so that the goods sent to vendor are all of good quality. The items received by the vendor were supposed to be of good quality but removal of imperfect items are inevitable in nature (for example defect due to transportation or maybe some items were not of perfect quality even after reworked). A mathematical model is developed for finding the solution when the imperfect items produced were reworked but still when the items reach the vendor were still not perfect. Sensitivity Analysis and numerical examples are provided to validate the results.
