Abstract
Generally UHF RFID tags do not work well near metal or water at higher frequency. We have to design an antenna to minimize this so that RFID tag can work efficiently at higher frequency. A compact micro strip Patch type RFID tag antenna design for metallic objects application is proposed in this letter. Micro-strip patch antenna has the characteristic of both antennas Patch antenna is resonating at Frequency of 900 MHz. Micro strip antennas offer a potential solution, but suffer from manufacturing complexity because a need for via or some other reference to ground .Simulation and measurement results of the proposed RFID tag antenna are also presented in this letter.
