Abstract

The output voltage of the inverter under strong nonlinear load will be distorted. The Conventional Repetitive controller (CRC) can’t guarantee desirable voltage quality and dynamic performance under this condition. To address these issue, an improved Repetitive Controller is proposed, which consists of Odd Harmonic Repetitive Controller (OHRC) and a Specific Harmonic Gain Compensator (SHGC), which achieve better dynamic performance and compensate suitable control gains for specific harmonics, and this aim can’t be realized by CRC. The improved RC is simple and suitable for microgrid. Experimental results demonstrate its effectiveness.
