Abstract
ABSTRACT Lupus nephritis (LN) is one of the most dreaded complications of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Gastrointestinal involvement is relatively uncommon and usually manifests as moderate and nonspecific indications. The present case report draws attention to the unusual presentation of SLE as LN with predominant gastrointestinal manifestations. Early detection and treatment of this condition improves the outcome of a potentially fatal ailment.
