Abstract

Summary Over the past few years, the University of Leicester has seen a massive growth in the number of electronic journals to which the University Library subscribes. The world of e-journal access is complex and oftentimes mysterious to staff and patrons alike. Because of this, the library developed an online Electronic Journals Tutorial. The tutorial, modelled upon the many information retrieval tutorials currently available on the Web, is unique in that it is one of the first of its kind to attempt to support and promote e-journal access.
