Abstract
This note considers a graph-based initial state reconstruction in image denoising. Our particular focus is on developing a quasi-model by a combination of boundary perturbation methods. The corresponding spectral quasi-solution enables one to stably approximate the original pixelated image after the standard forward–backward denoising process. Convergence estimates are derived with respect to the deterministic noise level. Some numerical examples are provided to verify the performance of the method.
