Abstract

This series of notes reflects on Immanuel Kant's concept of pure practical The notes trace the evolution of the concept from Critique of Pure Reason through Groundwork for the Metaphysics of Morals to Critique of Practical Reason. The notes show how Kant changed his mind on the meaning of a pure practical reason, eventually arriving at a positive view where the concept provides standards by which to criticise mere practical reason.
