Abstract

Subject. This article analyzes the involvement of regional socio-economic systems in national and global reproduction processes. Objectives. The article aims to determine the relationship between the region's reputation, its business activity, and macroeconomic parameters of the region's development. Methods. For the study, we used the empirical methods of research. Results. The article presents a model that reveals the dependence of the region's reputation on its business activity, and it also offers a concept of regional management, taking into account the provisions of the theory of reputation economics. Conclusions. The article concludes that the reputation capital index is the most important indicator of the effectiveness of strategic management of the region.
