Abstract
The relentless growth of password-protected Web site accounts and their varying protocols have resulted in significant complexity for both the users and the computer systems that must accommodate passwords. The goal of this study was to investigate the current design features and practices of various highly ranked Web sites and to provide design strategies and recommendations to enhance user experiences in password practices.
