Abstract

The division between the subject and the object, and the knowledge of the object, is disturbing to the mind of researchers. In this article, we introduce picture and writing as two Lacanian theoretical paradigms to explain the dynamic relationship between the two sides. We probe into an essential approach of the effect of the transmission between the real and the symbolic for the subject. We review the context of these two notions and then show that these forms of art reveal a dimension of exchange between the subject and object. In this way, we form a critical view against dualism and a revelation of thinking of wholeness.
