Abstract
O escopo do presente artigo é apresentar a abordagem levada de Tomás de Aquino do problema do mal, considerando a questão de sua origem e natureza, de modo que seja possível promover uma síntese conciliadora entre a presença do mal no mundo e a existência de um Deus perfeitamente bom.
